A sound knowledge of hospital hygiene as well as of the technical and economic issues in sterile goods supply are basic requirements of staff and managers in these departments. Keywords such as CJD, quality management, certification, validation, legal security, cost curbing and a service mentality have opened up new horizons in recent years.

SteriLog makes sure that its qualification and training status keeps up with these constantly expanding requirements. In the Aesculap Academy, CSSD staff receive training and further education in specialist courses which follow the educational guidelines of the German Association for Sterile Goods Supply (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sterilgutversorgung, DGSV).
